About NOYB

  The New Orleans Youth Ballet is a pre-professional company and the junior division of Delta Festival Ballet. Artistic Directors are Joseph Giacobbe and Maria Giacobbe. NOYB members receive professional training and perform in many of DFB’s productions, as well as other civic, social and cultural events throughout New Orleans and the surrounding region. The NOYB season runs from September through May.
 

Audition Information

  Auditions for the 2008-2009 Season will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at the Giacobbe Academy of Dance, 6925 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie. Ages 13-18 at 2:00 PM, Ages 10-12 at 3:00 PM. $10 Audition fee. Dancers should arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled audition time for registration.
